Default "Orange Boxes" -attractions, avatars, or trees appearing as orange boxes

This is usually resolved just be reloading the game.

Occasionally you have to delete Ravenwood from your flash cache to fix it.

How To Delete Ravenwood from your Flash Cache.

You will not lose any game data but "Enable Fast loading"/memory settings will be set back to default.

Close Ravenwood completely then go to this website:
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/do...manager07.html
The control panel on the web is not a photograph. This is the actual control panel. Find "edgecast" and highlight it, then click "Delete Site"

*NOTE: It was previously listed as "Ravenwood" in the flash cache, since Ravenwood switched to a different server hosting company it comes up as "edgecast". Sorry for any confusion this causes.

*lol* And sometimes someone at LOLapps deletes the wrong thing ;-) Then everyone will have an orange box for the same thing(s)

    Should be fixed now.

Yours is a different Orange Box problem than the one mentioned above. It should be fixed now. If it's not then you should submit a bug report.

    Submit a bug report:

Click on the "Report/Contact this app" link at the very bottom of your game page. Add notifications-support@lolapps.zendesk.com to your e-mail’s address book to prevent the reply from being lost in your spam folder.
It would be useful to include
    • Your operating system information
    • Browser (s) version number
    • Error messages you received
    • If the error happens at specific times (ie when visiting neighbors)

I have followed all these instructions. But I still have orange blocky avatars and spinning pinwheels for the quests. Not sure what is wrong now. But frustrated that you can't see the quests. I have to run the mouse over and read them.

I encounter this problem occasionally, not sure what causes it, but I just usually quit playing and go do something else. Next time I log in, the orange boxes are gone. Seems to happen every other week or so.

I've only encountered this issue in the last 24 hours and it's probably because since then a lot has happened in/to my mine.

1 - Firstly, I restored the Library. The new vitalin gem timer was a massive help with getting those final vitalin gems. :-)
2 - I redesigned my mine to go from about 35,000 work to over 110,000 work (because I saw some of my neighbours had), so the amount of objects in my mine are now more than twice what they were before.
3 - I play RF/RM in full screen and although there were problems for every player about 12 or so hours ago, although my fair will now load. If I switch to full screen view, my game hangs on the "descending to Ravenstone Mine screen".
4 - When my mine does open in the Facebook window, I get orange boxes at random places as well as the spinning icons a few others have reported.
5 - I have done all the fixes [reloading, clearing flash cache, etc.] suggested by Cordelia, Sparky and others (who'll know I often tell this to new people to these forums) but 3, 4 and 5 are happening each and every time.

I guess the quick fix for me would be to take my mine back to the 35,000 or so work it has been since the mine opened and I went crazy on buying extra machinery. But then I'd have to put everything back and there's no guarantee doing that will actually fix what's happening.

So.... any other suggestions or file a bug report?

File a bug report. You could try fiddling with your flash cache memory allocation for Ravenwood if you wanted.

I experience this at least once or twice a day. A refresh takes care of it, but it is a bit disconcerting
