Thread: If your game will not load/or a tab in the game won’t load

    Game won't load at all. Was fine earlier today.... don't try to push this off as someone else's issue. Other FB games work fine. Ravenwood skye works fine. It is only Ravenwood. Dang ~ I hate this.... I would rather buy a game like this outright, advance as I want and refuse what guests I want. I HATE that I have to do all quests. or at least if I don't want to do one, it has to sit there and clutter my gametop. There are some quests I just don't want to do, like halloween which I don't do.

    No one is trying to "push this off" as someone else's issue. In order to fix an issue it first has to be found, there are a great many things that could be causing this game not to load. And while some times an issue can be fixed by a user (ie clearing their flash cache, or using a different browser) that doesn't mean the developer doesn't try to fix the issue. They do not want you to have to clear your flash cache manually, nor do they want you to have to change browsers. But if these solutions work not only does it get you back to playing the game it provides them with valuable information though it can be incredibly hard to track down.

    Flash once had an issue that affected only users with Intel HD graphics cards and Internet Explorer 9 and hardware accelerating turned on. With the one report from someone on this forum LOLapps certainly never could have guessed why the game was loading in a small box in the upper left corner of the screen. However Adobe received enough reports that they eventually figured out what was different for those users having the issue than those users who were not. And they announced it then LOLapps read the announcement and could pass on the workaround (use anything other than IE9), and then eventually Adobe fixed the issue and things worked, until the next error.

    Recently there was an issue with customers of one specific ISP being unable to load the game, that was never adequately figured out but wherever the error was it was thankfully fixed. A few adblocking programs sometimes block the game. Security settings in browsers sometimes block the game because of the way it communicates with facebook. These issues are resolved both by directly by LOLapps changing how they do things but also by LOLapps working with other companies, and other companies improving even without LOLapps. Adobe just wants flash to work so that it can keep it's market share, it doesn't care about LOLapps per se. Adblocking software doesn't want to stop you from seeing your games for the same reasons.

    Online games like this depend on flash to work properly, they depend on communication with facebook to work properly, they rely on other parts of your browser to work properly, your ISP and DNS to work properly, your computers connection to your modem to stable, etc, etc. The issue can be in any one thing or any combination of things. The goal is always to provide a workaround, if possible, until the issue can be resolved, then fix the issue permanently as soon as possible.

    LOLapps appreciates any information users provide to help track down this error, but if you do not want to post then of course there's no obligation. Just check back to see if a workaround has been found, or wait for the issue to be fixed.

    Cordelia, I sent Ivy the player # that she request, yesterday and I have not heard anything from her since. I am also still not able to load ravenstone mine. What is going on? Can I please get this fixed?

    I would need your ticket number to be able to inquire with customer service; however LOLapps would have been unable to test your account without your facebook ID.

    Okay, here's my experience. If I haven't logged on to the game in a while and I begin playing in my fair, there's no problems. I can do things in my fair and everything seems fine. The minute I leave my fair and return immediately back to my fair--either from visiting neighbours, going to my mine, or if I leave the app entirely and come right back--that's when I start getting the "your game is out of sync with the server" messages. These persist no matter what I do (and no matter which browser I use) until I leave the game alone for a few hours and then come back to it again. Then, rinse and repeat--the same experience every time.

    However, if I get the out of sync messages and quickly click on a neighbour, I'm taken to their fair where I don't experience sync issues at all. The syncing problem is strictly within my own fair only.

    Default game wont load

    I have not been able to get ravenwood fair to load for few weeks now. I can send gifts from the message center but the game itself will not load. i have done all the troubleshooting steps tried 3 different browsers, chrome , ie and firefox and it will not load. i have another facebook account and the game from that account loads just fine on my computer... ravenskye works just fine.. i would not mind even to start the game over i would just like to be able to play it.

    You need to follow the last step and send in a bug report. Tell them other accounts load fine on your computer.

    Default Game keeps disconnecting and reloading

    Windows xp sp3

    google chrome 15.0.874.121

    Adobe Flash version 11,1,102,55 installed

    Game loads fine but after performing a few chores says "Are you sure you are connected to the internet? Please reload the game". Game then reloads and I have to start all over again. All the actions I performed have been reset. I first experienced this problem yesterday and then again today. I have performed all the steps suggested above, none are working, the problem remains. Really annoying!!! Please fix this!!

    Have you cleared your cache recently?

    How To Delete Ravenwood from your Flash Cache.

    You will not lose any game data but "Enable Fast loading"/memory settings will be set back to default.

    Close Ravenwood completely then go to this website:

    The control panel on the web is not a photograph. This is the actual control panel. Find "edgecast" and highlight it, then click "Delete Site"

    *NOTE: It was previously listed as "Ravenwood" in the flash cache, since Ravenwood switched to a different server hosting company it comes up as "edgecast". Sorry for any confusion this causes.

    seems like the error message i get from fair is 504 Gateway Time-out have no clue what that means.. is there anything i can do to fix that from my end. my other account does not get that

    • Your operating system information
    • Browser (s) version number
    • Error messages you received
    • If the error happens at specific times (ie when visiting neighbours)

    I have performed the following items with the exception of using a different browser, my Adobe flash player is current, I have the most current IE, I am operating windows 7 and I have not installed any ad blockers. This is a new laptop I am using that I am able to use for all other FB games except for Raven wood. My home PC loads Raven Wood just fine and it is running vista

    If you can run your game on your desktop but not your laptop, chances are the issue is with your laptop. Try installing Chrome, as it is the best for flash based content, and shutting down all programs running in the background.

    Ravenwood fair wont load at all since last 24 hours. i presume that Ravenwood is on the same server as Ravenskye city ? & that loads perfectly. before the loading problem Ravenwood was loading 100% great for months. anyone else have thsi current problem ?

    Game works perfectly fine until I need to stash something to save for later -decoration/etc.
    As soon as I do that it freezes up and pretty much stops my browser working for a moment.

    My Firefox is set to auto clear the cache as soon as it is closed so it's not that.
    Any ideas?

    My game is stuck on loading. I can send gifts and take care of my message center, but when I try to get into the game it just loads to the end but not completely. This is a brand computer with a fresh update of both firefox and flash.

    My problem started when the St Patty's started if this helps. Going on day 4 and STILL can not get in

    EDIT: Actually I have not been able to get into the game since 2/28: Bonus Quest: Tending the Fairy Garden was released,

    going on 2 weeks and not able to get into game. here is a link with all of the errors I am getting. Would like an update please on how this is coming along.

    I asked someone to look into your account, but most cases of loading issues are a problem with the computer rather than the game.

    Could not get on with my old computer, tried the laptop nope, bought a NEW computer no even went to a friends house and could not log in on hers. She has the same problem as me. Could not at her place nor mine. So this is NOT a computer problem. But thank you for responding and asking someone to look into this matter. Am tired of posting the error messages and getting NO REPLY either here or on the bug report.
