thank for post......
I have a question - at one point I thought that if a neighbor's pic had a little energy bolt next to it, it meant I could still go visit them. But apparently it doesn't. So what DOES it mean, if you know?
The energy bolt is supposed to indicate that if you visit them you will receive the bonus (which also means that you will get 5 energy to spend at their fair or mine as well). However if you collect the bonus and then leave their fair/mine the energy bolt should go away because you've already received the bonus; so it doesn't indicate whether you do or do not have unspent energy.
That being said I'm not sure it's resetting properly for some users.

Thanks for all the help. I am a newbie and all the advice about what to cut down/clear etc., is going to help me a lot. I have bookmarked your page so I can come back often and check out when I get stuck. Thanks a million :-)
Hi Lissy, I think your guide is great and very useful, apart from the part about deleteing FB friends and keeping them as neighbours, this is all very good and well untill people delete you and keep you just as a neighbour when they come and vist your fair they end stuck on your ravenwood news you can't thank them because they aren't your FB friend, hense blocking up your ravenwood news, mine is full of people who FB friended me then became my ravenwood fair neighbour then deleted me as an FB friend. So I'm stuck with them blocking up my ravenwood news as they still vist my fair. Do you know of a way to clear my ravenwood news of all these ex friends? so it is clear to thank people who actually stayed my FB friend and actually are my real neighbours. Also am I right in thinking if they delete you from FB they can't gift you and you can't gift them? even if they show up as your neighbour.
You can gift each other, but it whether their requests show up in your newsfeed depends on security settings and subscriptions and whatnot.
Also people who are your facebook friend but also do not allow friends to post on their wall won't clear from the Ravenwood News page.
They should get bumped off though, once new people visit?
If you want to unfriend them use the neighbour tab and remove them.

Thank you very much for this guide. I wish I had of read it at the start of my playing!
I am having trouble with space in my game. I am running out of room for all my stuff!
So my questions are:
1. Do you have a recommendation of how to set out everything? I have put space around each of my buildings so that people can walk around them, do I need to do this?
2. Can I/should I delete/sell items? Most of the stuff in my fair was because I needed to place it for a quest, can I get rid of it now the quest is over or not?
Thanks in advance!
Hi, Lissy
You've done an outstanding job so far as I am concerned. A couple of things that helped me out:
When you get the chance to make the food carts, do so. Keep them filled. The first one is the popcorn/kettle corn cart. The best use of resources is the 5 pack of popcorn. Think of it this way, one energy is used to collect, so collecting a single popcorn that gives you 2 energy isn't going to help much. 5 packs give a total of 10 energy (2 x 5) for one energy.
The funnel cake is wonderful, but is higher up the level and takes a while. Friends who visit can "help" the cart & shorten the time to finish. I try to keep the candy apple cart, the lemonade stand (catnip tea), the corndog cart & funnel cake cart up and running as much as possible. They are wonderful for converting to energy to keep you going.
If you puttered and worked in your fair and are out of energy, don't be ashamed to ask for it from your friends and neighbors. But, while you are waiting, go visit neighbors yourself if you haven't done so that day. I've gone to all of my neighbors in a day and ended up with well over twice my energy bar in energy. In other words, if I visited all my neighbors in a day, I've ended up with abt 80-100 energy units. I'm at level 38 and have a "fill up" energy level of 38. Some of my neighbor visits yield up to 5 energy for the visit, although 1 energy is the norm. This is in addition to the 5 units allotted for you to use in another's fair.
Hope this helps others!!

Hi everyone!
How many hours must you wait before you van visit a neighbor and work on their fair/mine? As in, when you can chop trees and gain energy again?
Also, is there any reason you gain different specific amounts of energy for visiting each neighbor? I know its usually within the range of 1-5. Is the amount given at random?
I've been playing for a couple months now (addict!) but I've never thought to actually ask these questions.
Thank you!!!
Also, please feel free to add me as a neighbor on Ravenwood or Ravenskye
