Before you use a sleeping potion:
Close your game completely. Then open it again.
Reminder:
- The inner circle of protectors prevents tree growth when the protectors are charged.
- Sleeping potions will not make existing trees larger, or cause partially chopped trees to regenerate
Sleeping potions do not grow roots, only trees.- The sleeping potion will not regrow rocks on your fair or the rocks in your mine
- Sleeping potions will not grow trees in every open space. Normally 75-90% of your squares will grow trees. If you're hoping the sleeping potion will grow trees in just a few small spaces you may be disappointed.
The problem is that the game sometimes "remembers" a square as being filled even though the object is no longer in that square; if the game things the square is full then it won't allow a tree to grow in it. It may remember trees you have chopped, buildings/games/decorations you have moved or stashed. The game also may "remember" your neighbours' trees/games/buildings/decorations blocking the same squares on your map after you have visited them.
This is resolved for most people however it is still a good idea to reload your game avoid the game remembering squares as being occupied after visiting your neighbours or moving objects in your game.
Close your game completely and reopen it:
- After visiting neighbours
- Periodically when redecorating
- BEFORE using a sleeping potion.
Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Fixing this is a top priority, and it will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Hey All,
We're well aware of this issue and we've been doing our best to track it down however it has remained exceptionally elusive. If anyone has any reliable way to reproduce this (ex: on a particular browser after doing a specific task), we would be very grateful to you, as would your fellow Fair-Goers. It's been reported a lot but we just haven't been able to fix it cuz we can't seem to find the problem.
Sorry for your inconvenience (those that have the malfunction)!
