Why does the Ravenwood Gamebar only shows the "Ask" search box and not the Ravenwood toolbar itself?
I cannot get that toolbar to work either so I'm uninstalling it. Will try it again if it ever gets fixed.
I have the issue with not being able to install it. Says I have already have one toolbar powered by ask. I have one game bar and it is for Yoville and like to have this one as well, since I play both.

Game bar problems have lasted a month!
I`ve been asking this question all month:confused:- since I joined. I did everything, but if I could get it to open, the next time I comeback to the first page- it is gone! I finally decided to leave it off until fixed!Please send me notice when t is fixed?
I accidentally uninstalled the gamebar and cant find where to get it again. Can anybody help?

Working on a fix to what I believe the issue is. Are you seeing a gray bar where the toolbar area should be? This is happening sometimes if you have your browser open for a long period of time (which I always do so I get this problem too).
Opening a new window or closing and reopening the browser should fix any issues.
Of course, this is not what we want to have happening so we'll be trying to fix this as best as we can. Sorry for the issues!
The thing is that ASK is screwing with anyone who uses Firefox mostly. I had to unload your game bar because ASK kept my browser tabs from opening up! At FF suggestion, I unloaded your ASK gamebar and VOILA! All problems with game bar and browser stopped immediately.
I couldn't get it to work with Firefox either, so I uninstalled it.
I can't get it to work with firefox or internet explorer-I have no problems with other games toolbars that I play and would like the extra bonuses from this as well. I'm having same issues as everyone else who has responded and have tried all poss fixes on my own to no avail. Any idea when it's going to be up and functioning
have you maybe had it at some point and removed via your browser (the edit/remove Ravenwood game bar)? i had done this for i was not happy with the ASK copying lines from my private messaging (used copy/paste in private fb message and it showed up to this search bar!!??).
later decided to give it another try and got the very message you have. then i went to my computer program listing (edit/remove applications). It was still there. After uninstalling it from there was able to install it again.
And now i'm not happy with it again for it seems to record every step i do on my puter - what's that all about? >

No never played Ravenwood until about a couple weeks ago. I do has ask part of my search part, but not no search bar. I took ask from my global mojo to see if I can install the Ravenwood toolbar, but not sure if that will help.
That didn't even help. I tried and the installation(set up) part vanished after I started it. I tried several times, I can not even redownload the installation to see if I can get it to work. Found out it was because Firefox was updating, why it was not working. Also I have a screen shot of it dealing with not installing something along the line having another toolbar powered by ask.

I removed the one toolbar that was powered by ask and installed the Ravenwood Fair bar
Edit: Never mind, it is not compatible with Firefox. When it is enabled it causes Tabs not to be opened in Firefox

I am having the same issue. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but all I get is the Ask search engine, and a tab to play Ravenwood as well as one to send gifts.
I can not get this tool bar to work either, I use Firefox and will not use any other browser. From what I can see in other peoples posts, this gamebar will not work with a browser that the majority of people I know use(firefox). When the team behind Ravenwood fair decide to make this benefit available to a good amount of people on the web I will reinstall it. Until then... I am extremely disappointed.
I use it with Firefox 3.6.15 and it works fine for me. I'm not sure what is causing problems for everyone but hopefully it will be fixed in the near future.

Actually this toolbar only works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. And 80% of Ravenwood users use Internet Explorer (which blows my mind because IE is horrible). And while it is true that Ravenwood chose Ask.com to run it, it is an Ask product and it's really up to them to pick which browsers to support.
I can't install it because I primarily use Chrome and Opera. So in theory yours should work as soon as tech support fixes whatever glitch is happening, unlike those who use chrome, opera, safari, or flock, or any browser on a mac.

My Firefox (most current version) HATES Ask. I don't think it is something your tech crew should have to deal with. Ask is making the mess and Ask alone is responsible. Everyone who is having problems with the bar should just remove it until Ask cleans up their act and gives Ravenwood a glitch-free game bar.

I've tried to install on FF4 but get told I have an Ask Toolbar but definately do not.
As this appears to be a common problem for FF users I'll give up trying.

i had game bar it would go grey worked for a month disappeared 2 days later started ed getting ghost boxes down left that prohibited accesing game there then game stopped opening 2 weeks later i havent been able to get in for 3 months i have uninstalled missing game bar removed game browser and nothing different very frustrating i have 2 browsers bad on both tried to use friends computer and wouldnt work until this week but only goes to game 1 out 4 or 5 tries any ideas wrote lolapps and nothing done very frustrating
The game bar is hosted through Ask. You might try contacting them. I can get the toolbar to work now; it's the fact that Ask INSISTS that theirs be the search engine used that is annoying me. Answered 'no' that I did not want their search engine as the default and it STILL gave it to me. As long as Ask is hosting the toolbar, I will not be using it. Such a shame because it looked like a handy item to have.
