Problem: No Building Supplies Dropping From Trees OR Only Ladybugs and Tree Sap

NOTE: This issue is currently considered "Resolved" except that a restored by not completed Portal is not properly triggering drops and the Ore Refiner does not trigger drops because the game does not know what you are about to refine.

However concerns about drops are relatively common, and other issues with the drop system will probably happen in the future.

If you have concerns about the drops in your fair or mine please follow the steps below:


First off, clear your flash cache, often it resolves the issue (see below if you need instructions).


Secondly, if you have two things that need the same item the item will often stop dropping as soon as you have enough to finish the one that requires the least. So if you have a quest that needs 40 and a building that needs 6 it may stop dropping after you have 6 in your stash. So go through your open quests and unfinished attractions and see if that is causing the problem. (note: once you finish whatever it was that needed the least number of the item you may need to reload your game before it starts dropping again)

If that doesn't resolve the issue please answer ALL of the questions below so tech support can resolve this as quickly as possible:

How To Delete Ravenwood from your Flash Cache.

You will not lose any game data but "Enable Fast loading"/memory settings will be set back to default.

So, from checking a few of your logs, it looks a good amount of you have several quest chains active with goals that require a range of materials. Apparently the amount of stuff that's needed is confounding our Loot picking system. We're going to be reviewing this code to make sure of a few things.

1. check to see that the loot system can handle large numbers of active material needs
2. redistribute quest load so we're not confusing the system (or you!)

I was also having issues with Wildflowers not dropping (as well as pinecones and wisteria) but as of about an hour or two ago, the issue seems fixed. I hope it's working for you too now!

I need tickets but cant get past one building because I need ONE shell to complete, for a couple weeks. These items are in my wishlist and I send requests but many of my friends have given up on the game and my neighbors seem to be giving up also. Frustrating. I don't want to request here because I really don't want to play a game that requires me to post on walls. I try to earn facebook credits but the option rarely shows up and then when I click on it, it says I missed the offer. My next step was to fill out the questionaire and list ALL this stuff for tech support and then I decided I should just quit since the fun meter is dropping fast. The princess wedding is in 4 days. Click the "Ask Friends" button, the screen that says "Publish this story to your Facebook Wall and your friends' home pages?" will pop up, then right click (or however you do it on a MAC ((I am a PC girl)), someone else will have to figure out that one) the link that says "Help! I need a ____!" The drop down box with the option to copy link location should appear, copy that, copy it to the forum, then hit the 'x' at the top or 'skip' at the bottom. People will still be able to send you the item, but it won't appear on your wall.

I'm probably the only one that will ever use it this way, but I thought I'd share, anyway!♥♥♥

What do you need to drop? Things will only drop if there is an unfinished building or quest that requires the item. Some objects, like school bells, don't every drop.

I will suggest to the developers that the food cart quests be altered to include a quest criteria to "have" each of the required ingredients to complete the quest; but as they are already working on a better solution to allow you to receive ingredients by playing they may focus on that solution which will help more users more of the time.

If an item is needed to complete a quest then it should drop from the trees IN MY OPINION, all of the chalkboards and pencil boxes dropped from trees! All but 2 of my neighbors have stopped playing because it is a ridiculous strain on friends to constantly gift items to you. That being said, the only way I can GET items is through the game. If they don't drop from trees, neighbors won't send them and I am so poor I cannot feed my family AND buy FB credits....what is my incentive for playing your game or recommending it to others?

I STILL only get food (mushrooms), XP and coins from my trees. I ONLY get ladybugs and sap if a monster is defeated. If this is how it is supposed to be, ok...if not, then it needs to be fixed. Right now my only open quest is building a lumberjack lodge. In order to do that I need to collect saplings and saw blades. IF those don't drop from the trees then I will have to rely on my 2 neighbors to send me all 16 which will certainly cause me to lose said neighbors. The developers need to allow stuff to drop from the trees, period!

I am irked though that the Artisian Water won't drop from a friend's mine. I don't have any rocks left...I used them all with the first request, now I can't complete the green house because my rocks are all smashed and I wasted tons of energy (and time) trying to get water from my neighbor's mine :^{

Stuff isn't dropping for me.

I've tried the Flash dump and it seems to work but then I stop getting drops. This has been going on for a while now, I think since the lumberjacks came. I wasn't to worried about it because I only had a quest or two so it was easy via friends to get the items but now I have to many and it's getting annoying.

I did try the flash dump on my Win 7 machine with IE9 and I got one flour to drop and then nothing for several trees. I dumped the flash again and things started to drop. This morning I'm using my laptop which has Windows XP and IE8 after doing a flash dump this morning. I had a couple things drop but nothing for last several trees. I think I just chopped around 10 trees with nothing dropping, I've also run out of trees to keep playing with it.

Really having a lot of trouble finishing anything and the "build an alternate machine" workaround has stopped working.

Gypsy Rags are gift-only; so are Endymial tablets but there are other tablets so maybe I am looking at the wrong thing? Platinum is gift only (but certain machines will drop it but that appears to only work if your avatar is in the mine. Diamond is gift only. http://support.lolapps.com/entries/20432007-materials

That being said wedding items shouldn't be dropping if you do not need them; and buckets of vitalin shouldn't drop from regular rocks and silicone should only come from monsters. It sounds like something may be going on so I have passed this on to tech support.

It is possible that the tablets were dropping, I'm not 100% sure. I did get conflicting information before that pack was added to the game. Platinum did drop when we were testing the mine, and I am reasonably sure that it did drop for a period of time after it went live but it's a bit confusing for me at this point.

Do let me know if you keep getting wedding drops that you don't need, or other drops that you don't need (except for those things that always drop: tree sap, ladybugs, pergium, bricks, flame crystals.... I think I'm missing something)

Cordelia do you know if my issue was every checked out?

Also I get wedding gifts to drop when killing monsters, I know it was happening when nothing else was dropping... don't know if thats normal or not.

But everything seems to be working now for me. Stuff drops that should. Vitalin Crystals have started forming.
