FAQ: Tomes of Power (Completing the Library of Lethmor)
- Tomes will only be found when you have an active quest to locate them
- You will only receive one tome quest at a time, in order
- NONE of the Tomes are found by mining rocks in your own mine.
Tome I
Quest(s):
- "Quest for Knowledge" (Luka)
You will receive this tome by mining the rocks in Luka's mine. Luka comes through the Mysterious Portal when you reactivate it; therefore Luka's mine is found by going back through the Portal. Just click on it to go from one side to the other.
Luka's mine is like any other neighbour's mine, you only have 5 energy to spend there each day. The Tome is like any other building material there is a chance it will drop each time you mine; some people will be very lucky and receive it the very first chop, some people are less lucky and it will take many chops.
Tome II
Quest(s):
- Right Under Their Nose (Luka)
You will receive this Tome by repairing your neighbour's machines. If you can't find a neighbour with machines in need of repair either leave your character in someone's mine until a machine gets used enough times to need repair or ask a neighbour to leave one out of repair for you.
You should receive this Tome quickly, usually after repairing the first machine.
Tome III
Quest(s):
- A Treasure Hunt! (Jeffery)
- The Power from Above (Jeffery)
- Back to the Mine (Luka)
Each visitor/worker will only give you one active quest at a time.
If you have a quest listed as active for Jeffery in the fair or Luka in the mine you will be unable to continue until at least that quest, and often the entire other quest chain, has been completed. Don't forget that not all quests are listed on the left side of the game. Open your quest log and make sure you scroll through all active quests if there is a down arrow.
You must complete all three quests in order to continue.
A Treasure Hunt! (Jeffery)
Head up to the fair and receive the quest from Jeffery. If he won't give it to you and you are sure you do not have an active quest from him try reloading the game.
You need to have 3 gold and 3 emeralds for Jeffery, once you do turn in the quest to him.
The Power from Above
This quest only asks that you speak to Jeffery
Back to the Mine
Just go back down to the mine and talk to Luka
Tome IV
Quest(s):
- An Audience with the King (Luka)
- A Tale of Two Kings
An Audience with the King
Talk to Luka to receive this quest. Have 3 Gold to pay the King with, then talk to Luka again
A Tale of Two Kings
Talk to the King to receive this quest. The king will tell you two riddles. He will repeat them as often as you'd like.
Hint #1 You have to buy one thing for each riddle (buy, not have)

Riddle 2
Second: A lantern found in deepest dark, a lantern lit with vitalin spark, A lantern that provides no light, A lantern called the monster's blight.
Hint #1 <spoiler>It "uses" vitalin, and it frustrates monsters!</spoiler>
Hint #2 <spoiler>There's one in Luka's mine</spoiler>
Answer: <spoiler>Magic Lantern (protector)</spoiler>
