Original design of my city when created in week 2 of the game:



New version of my city after we have received all these awesome new stuff such as Flowers, new buildings, water aqueducts, and grass:



I like my new version best I did keep a few things the same since I created my Bone Dragon Army in honor of Sean the King of Ravenworld and I liked my monsters which some people call the zoo in the ruins area of my city. The patch of land that is empty is my working area for when we have new quests to work on buildings until I find a new home for them or for me to plant plants when needed or as of right now I am using it to help me work on a couple of the building collections with multiples of the same building over and over again.

How do you take a screen shot?

How I do on my laptop, I press FN and PrtSc (Print Screen) Then I open up paint and paste it, and save it. Then I guess they use paint or something and overlap them to make a whole city photo... That what I got out of it.

And yes now I'm rearranging my whole city! Lol when it's done I wanna post a pic of mine but it may take a while.. Lol

Hi, I've been feeling sad for these hard working guys without any Holiday fun under ground of Ravenwood Fair.... so yesterday I helped them to make their own tree!!!

Got a question about the artwork. I'm not too good at drawing (usually do oil painting, not drawing), but if I wanted to try my hand at something, how would I go about doing that? I suck at doing it on the 'puter, so it would be done by hand on paper or whatever. Would I then scan it and send the pix via email? Not saying I would consider my work good enough to send through, just asking in case I did draw something I thought was good enough to share.

Of course! A number of people hand draw, paint, sketch etc and send in their artwork.

I finally finished the quests today and I'm so proud of my little city! My city rank is 30 and my experience level is 75. Lots of items are stashed, but I'm happy with the way it looks.

Hoping for a new quest soon?!?

That's creative what you did with the vines at the top-left. Most people just hack them. Please can I copy that?
There's probably other art that you've created in there that would inspire but it's a bit too zoomed out for me.

In the pic above, to the left, there's supposed to be one of those interesting psychological visual illusion things. Some might label it a glitch, but I found it fun, so I spent a while trying various objects to make the effect more pronounced.

Drew one of the custom avatars while I was waiting for my energy to regenerate this morning.

Going to color it later and add a hummingbird buddy, too.

I call him Larry. I love that I can switch back and forth between the customs without having to pay again, it's like I have the choice of eight different characters to play as.

I was impressed with Munin's garden (on the bottom tier/level), and when I visited a neighbour, she had placed Skye bushes around the Fancy Baths, which I liked, so I shamelessly copied her and added bits. Eventually it evolved into this:

It'll look way better once I finish Garden Party and Glimmerick Day. I haven't even got all the Moorland Mist out that I want yet. I just really like the color scheme I've got around the Wellspring with those Willows and First Days. (Lv69)

Nice. I like it when people use similar buildings and coloured items to complement each other, and a good example of what I mean is where you have Fowler's Mansion which has a golden orangey tree attached, and next to you have 2 similar coloured buildings and the Autumn Tree which complements the 1st tree. I think maybe it would be cool to add to that, purple buildings and orange plants and make it bigger.

One of my neighbours placed Skye Bushes around Skyescrapers and it is harmonious in a similar sort of same way. Maybe if I get time I'll post a screenshot and say I invented it. Er...wait, forget I told you that.

Red Hot Love

I watched the beautiful sparrow walk by, minding her own business. She didn't even seem to notice that I was looking at her. However, it almost seemed as if the huge totems' eyes were piercing through my mind.

It's as if they knew I was in love with Annie.

I sighed, watching Annie going to the Grand Library. I'll follow her into there and give her this Valentine! I thought while walking in. I saw that Annie was reading a book about the different vines that grew around Ravenskye.

"Annie…" I approached. She looked up.

"Hello, Tony!" she said happily, grinning. She closed the book and stood up. "What are you doing here?"

"I wanted to give you this…" I blushed, handing her the Valentine.

She gasped, blushing. She opened and read it –

Annie, I had to give you this Valentine.

I don't know if you noticed,

But I quite like you.

You're adorable,

You're always peppy,

Even when you're sad!

Did I mention how beautiful you are?

You brighten my day.
