[HELP SKYE] Gifts in facebook that do not appear in the Request Center

This is not a thread for all gifting errors. This is a thread for one specific gifting error soliciting specific information from users.

If you are not experiencing gifts that appear in Facebook's game request page but never move over to your in-game request center DO NOT post here. If you are experiencing this error but do not wish to participate in tracking down the cause and are therefore not going to answer any of the questions listed then do not post here; "me too" and other non-informative posts will be deleted, if you just want to let us know the error is ongoing please use a different thread.


If you have Skye Gifts that show up in the "Game Requests" on facebook (to the left of your newsfeed under "apps") that never show up your Skye Request Center please provide as much information as you can.

Please remember that your request center may only display 50 gifts at a time, they are working at increasing this but it's not yet working perfectly at all times. If you make room in your request center before more gifts will be brought over.

Crystal and vitalin were not meant to be added to the game yet, which is why they were not working. Those decorations have been removed again, they will be back and hopefully then everything will work. Please don't post about issues with crystals and vitalin here.

Some information that may help:
I don't expect that everyone will be able to answer all of these questions, but the more information the developers have the faster they can solve this

1. Is it particular gifts that are vanishing? Ie Skye Water, energy, etc?
   
   
2. Is it Thank You gifts or original gifts?
   
   
3. Are they gifts from a specific person?
   
   
4. Are they gifts from people on the forum?
   
   
5. Are they thank you gifts from people you sent gifts to on the forum? If so, do you remember which links you clicked. Some players have been altering links.
   
   
6. Do you have https turned on or off?
   
   
7. Does the person who has sent the gifts has https turned on or off? If you can find a post on their wall asking for a gift when you click it it will either start with https or it won't. (I hope!)
   
   
8. Does it happen only when you have more than 50 gifts total (between your request center and facebook game request page) or does it sometimes happen when you have very few gifts
   
   
9. Does it seem like you are getting gifts that you didn't post requests for, or didn't send to start with
   
   
10. Are they possibly duplicates? (Ie if you only posted 1 request for something and one person sent you three original gifts, more than they could send with the number of links plus one from their free gift page)
    
    
11. Are you getting any error messages while playing

UPDATE (Nov 3) [Resolved, hopefully]: Currently facebook is experiencing longer than normal wait times while communicating with games. Please wait at least 15 minutes after gifts show up in your game request page/notifications and then reload your game before considering them "lost". Unfortunately there isn't much that can be done if the issue is entirely on facebook's side but LOLapps is working hard to make sure none of it can be resolved from their end.

Hi, my problem is similar. Rather not new items disappearing but old items that have been gifted by other members of this forum disappearing. I accept new items and the old items appear by grouping and timing of when they were gifted however today my old items disappeared. The materials are purified snagvine root, box of nails, nickelknot and canvas. This has happened before but I wasn't sure why, I thought I had already accepted them, however this time round I had too much material at once to have accepted all of them.
