Running out of room

Are they ever going to open the other two place where we can put buildings ...my main city is crazy crowded and why not use the room we have...
all the snow buildings would go nicely on the peak

I agree! I would love to take some of my builings up to the peak - even if they cannot be collected from. They are too pretty to stash, but with all the new buildings coming there is just not space enough for everything

I'm only level 47 with one of each kind of building tightly & orderly placed, & I've just started on the 3ed tier, wondering if I'll have enough space 50 levels from now. There is a small amount of space to build on the peek, but I'm wondering what's inside that Mysterious Blocked Doorway, since even my highest ranking neighbors haven't opened theirs yet.

I second that. I am running out of room, I have 2 more quests today which mean build 2 more buildings. It will take a while for there are again lots of supplies needed, but my main problem is - where to put them???? The city is not pretty anymore, with buildings crammed in every little space left. I'd like to stash some buildings, but I also like to get the collections done - can we increase the drop rate here? I did not manage to finish even the first books collection, not to speak of the winter and new years collections.

It would really help if we could put buildings on peak and underground - so much lovely unused space! I would not mind not being able to collect from buildings placed there, but I really, really need more space!

There's no point putting buildings on the peak or interior because the NPCs will not use them, and you wouldn't be able to collect from them and earn collections.

Is there any news of expanding at all? I am only at level 70, I have all quests completed so far, but there is no room, to stash things I am losing coin, collections, or my rank points. I don't want to stash a lot of it because they are nice looking items too when you want that certain look, which I have to admit I have lost since everything now is jammed together. Once another quest comes out ...aww i don't even want to think about it well any ways I sure hope some sort of expansion comes out soon, one that isn't fixed like the upper and lower levels, no offence intended but I kinda think they are wasted since our rank and buildings either don't count or you can't place them in either.

I haven't heard anything official but if I had to guess no expansions are coming for the following reasons:
* Expansions slow down the game, and cause more bugs
* Having two areas earn coins and have NPCs requires a lot of testing and they would probably be looking for testers

Cordelia the point would be to keep the buildings out as decorations. It is such a shame to stock them all. I am not even interested in collecting from buildings that i put up in the peak or in interior, my hope was that they could fix something clever like a message warning us that putting this item up here means it cannot be collected from and then let us use the extra space.. the result of not having room enough is that as soon a building is done, i consider if there is a reward i want from it and if its pretty enough for me not to stash = most buildings get stashed straight after building.

This is my two cents, i ran out of room long ago and was having issues getting enough vines and rocks.

Then i asked around about city rank and i was told it is a high water mark.

I then noticed no matter i was i did, my city rank did not change. I was maxed out at the top level, If you hoover your mouse over your city rank and its 30 ranked like mine, its say you have reached the highest level.

So i thought, doesn't matter... I stashed all my christmas trees and other decorations in the interior as it was looking boring and livened it up a little. I also stashed as many buildings i can that do not drop collection items. ( i saw no point in keeping them).

But on the other side of the coin, i have also started freeing up the interior to mine rock and cut vines. So i think its a matter of personal choice and balance.

So in short if your city ranked is maxed i suggest stashing all buildings and decorations you do not need or do not drop collection items.

That's exactly what i did, although I cheated somewhat to get to rank 30, as I had well over a million coins I found the highest ranking decoration in the shop, bought it over and over again until i reached rank 30, then sold them all, now I can have my city any way I want
