What we would need to beat this mark:

1. A Fan Page (make one here: www.facebook.com/pages)
2. A whole bunch of fans (they did it with 107, I bet we could get twice as many people no problem)
3. A daily meeting to comment our hearts out (conversation, material links, whatever)
   • An FB event
   • Invite the whole fan page each time
   • At the close of the FB event, make the next event

Would anyone wanna give it a try? Personally, I think we could blow this away if we wanted to

Also, Woody, what do you think about making an announcement at the top of the forums? Even at the rate we're going it's going to take a year lol We need a lot more people.

I honestly don't see how 107 people made 1 million comments in 3 months. I did some math and at 200 comments per HOUR it would take over 200 days to get to 1 million comments. And we need well over 1 million because there are others that are trying to break this record.

So, yeah, anything we can do to bring in more people.

1152 comments / 20 hours / 50 fans = 1 post/hour

At this rate, it will take 17,361 hours to break 1 Million posts (723 days, or just under 2 years). Pretty easy, if you think about it.

HOWEVER, at the same rate of posting, just by increasing the amount of fans involved, we can very easily reduce this.

500 fans = 72.3 days
5,000 fans = 7.23 days
50,000 = 0.723 days (~17 hours)

For now, just focus on increasing the number of fans. To do so, suggest the page to everyone you know
