Wow, looks like everyone has already said just about everything I was going to suggest! hehe. Nice to know I'm not the only one.
To the lady who couldn't get that code to work, when you click you have to keep it clicked down, then type in the code with your other hand. Thanks so much to the person who posted those codes!!

There is one thing which no one has mentioned so far so I guess I will. Someone said how annoying it is when the avatar gets in the way of placing something, well I find it same of the in game characters. I can't turn them off or put them in invisible mode or something and they block stuff sometimes that I want to work on.

But the really HUGE frustration I have is actually with the characters game paths. The characters happily pass through many objects but they all have to go the long way around the quarry to get to the other side of top piece of the island. I usually cannot just walk straight across, esp if a plant has sprouted there and it takes a long time to get where I want to go.

This also creates a problem with using the super powers when chopping. I'm racing to get through as many vines as I can and suddenly the avatar decides he's going to go all the way round the quarry to get to the other side of the vine, when he was standing right next to it already! I usually stop him and choose something else, but valuable seconds are lost. It's my biggest complaint.

I also would like to pursue some of the main storyline tasks rather than delay myself with the short term quests. I don't want to make every item in the quests. The biggest joy for me in this game is in creating a village and I really resent being forced to decorate it with objects I dislike or build 2 of the same thing, say the synthesis shop, which I don't use that often and which takes up double the space now without contributing anything new to the general look of the town. I had this problem in Ravenwood Fair too, in the end I despaired of so many quests I was never going to finish and deleted everything except my resources which i slowly ship to ravenskye. Many thanks for reading our ideas for consideration to the game staff! Cheers! =)

No, you do not have to keep the mouse button held down. All you have to do is click once then carefully type in any of the cheat codes. If you mistype something click again to clear what you've typed and start over. The codes are not case sensitive.
There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I agree with pretty much everything so far. Adding my two(-dozen) cents:

    1) The positions of critical clicks (clicking "Ok/Cancel" or accidentally clicking on a SkyeCredit purchase or accidentally clicking on a Power) need to be rearranged, either through rearranging the dimensions of menus so buttons don't overlap with the position of other ones on the screen. The Shop, the Powers bar, and the Message Center all need this sort of thing taken into serious consideration. At the very least, all SkyeCredit purchases need an "are you sure?" pop up attached to them.

    2) Shop and Storage both need a "running tally" of how much of things we have displayed in the box for that icon. It'd be nice to have the borders of Shop boxes for "merchandise" that costs materials be a different color so it's indicated that it doesn't just cost Coins--especially items that cost Friendly Branches and Gems. Extend the sparkly border designation from Fair-material items to include items like the Small Canal so they're more easily found--and more consciously visible that they're going to consume non-Coin materials.

    3) Make Ladybug Farmers zero in on perishable crops before even considering Skyeberries, Awakening Stones, and Neverwithered crops. I use Neverwither to keep crops for neighbors, as well as to use crops decoratively--I don't want my Farmers uprooting this plan! :P Hummingbird Helpers also derail efficiency because they don't zero in only on full buildings--if it's not full, it's not going to drop collection items, and the drop rate's already lower with the Hummers Power as it is. Neverwither should "dog-ear" crops as secondary-priority for Ladybugs because they're not time sensitive. I hate when they get my NW'ed Arans when I'm trying to get King Melons that I forgot about for almost two days and will expire before I can harvest them myself. (There's a reason I don't hardly ever use my Powers other than Renew. The drawbacks are all in the AI.)

    4) I have major issues when in full screen mode with the game registering I've clicked on things. I often have to play in normal screen mode while I'm clicking on stuff, then full screen only to get "the big picture" while I'm waiting for energy to replenish. Yes, I've tried clearing my cache. Yes, I've tried three different browsers.

    5) Craft formulas unique to quests (like the Red Wind Orb Helmet) should grey out once the player's completed them, and be labeled "limit reached" like special buildings have. There's no reason to have multiple Helmets--so why give a forgetful player the opportunity to waste resources like this?

    6) I really liked that the game offered the Brighter Future Statue in a package deal with SkyeCredits, but I wasn't able to buy any while the promotion was going on. I'm very frustrated that the Statue is now $12 (99 SkyeCredits) because I really wanted it but now can't justify the expenditure. I don't mind the prospect of items that cost SkyeCredits--I just want them to be as cheap as the custom avatars, or at least in that ballpark! The cheaper items are, the more likely people are to buy a lot of them, and more often.

    7) I would love ornamental versions of the crop plants. Either that, or a less obscuring animation to show which crops are Neverwithered--I want to see the plant, not the Power!

    8) Iris and Monty make plants for your city. Glenn should make outdoor furniture like gazebos, benches, tables, paths, and fences. I would craft with Glenn more often if he had more non-seasonal offerings.

    9) The game definitely needs to "stay on task" with developing the main plot line. It's starting to feel less like an epic and more like a weekly sitcom.

    10) Don't remind us we're out of materials. It's bordering on pestering. Players know they can buy increments of Coins and Material--they don't need to be reminded. One of the main reasons I play R'Skye over other games on FB is because you guys don't constantly nag us to buy game currency. Don't start being like the rest! You're awesome!

    11) Give us the ability to gift packs of Wood and Stone. Even a pack of 15 would be awesome.

    12) New trees and flowers more frequently! I like variety in my City! Can we have some roses, please? I crave roses so badly.

    13) Make Snag!Root and Gustone rare drops like Water is from Bosuns. It'll make mundane drops a little less mundane if we can sit there clicking through weeds hoping for a good drop like that.

    14) I don't want the storage sorted alphabetically because half the time I don't remember what it's called exactly that I'm looking for. I most want it sorted by type of item: seeds, juice/mulch, key collected materials (like Golem Stone), build materials, etc. In decor, it'd be one of two ways. Either: paths, fences, flowers, trees, crafted stuff, etc. Or: by pack. Buildings should by default be sorted by pack.

It'd also be nice for the Shop to be sortable by the type of currency it costs (Gems, Vitalin, etc.).

    15) Storage menu needs to be available without having to close it while placing an item. I hate having to look at my city, then remember what I was going to do with something, then go find it, then remember where I was going to put it. I'm really daft. This doesn't work. Something like this:

    Name: RSkyeStorageSuggestion.jpg
Views: 141
Size: 102.5 KB

I want to be able to sift through my Storage and not have to flip back and forth. It gets dizzying.

    16) A "stash all" option (with a really big "ARE YOU SURE!?" attached to it, of course), for when a player wants to rearrange his city from scratch. I know it wouldn't be able to put up NPC buildings, or seeded farmland, but it'd still help substantially rather than getting carpal tunnel from stashing every single path tile one by one...

    17) Let us craft more than one item in buildings please! Especially Iris and Monty! Crafting is my favorite aspect of game play.

    18) Make Canvas, Nails, Mortar, and Rope all available in the Shop as a 5-for-4SC pack, please. It makes me frustrated any time I remember that that I can't do that, actually.

    19) My biggest unanimous agreement with this thread is to remove the ability in the Message Center to just accept gifts and not return the favor. It's just not kosher, especially when there are people who spend half an hour or more a day, sometimes multiple times a day, doing forum click throughs just to help people out. I don't even grasp why "just accepting a gift" is even an option--this is a game where "making the best city is really easy with your friends' help!" :P

    20) I want a frogmouth character. B| My citizens need to be able to count to flowerpot.

    21) All drop-able buildings should always drop. Don't change the ratio, just change the frequency. I feel trolled anytime I collect from a full building and I get squat, like, eight times in a row.

    22) Let us pick which NPCs are around in our city. (Moreover, let us pick which ones aren't. <.< I dislike Zeph and Betty so much.) If they're needed for a given quest, just dump them back into the city by default when a piece of a quest chain calls for it.

    23) Make us able to toggle off ready for collection/harvest tabs in the menu. Agreed that it's a huge eyesore when we're just admiring and don't have any energy to collect from them anyway.

    24) It'd be great if the tiles were less squared off, especially when they're attached to other tiles. The snow tile is the worst offender of this. It'd also be great if the repeating effect of continuous tile coverage were less obvious, especially with paths like the Rose Petals and Gravel.

    25) I also wholly agree with the member that posted about being able to trade in gifted items into Gems for people who aren't still stuck in the process of building those last few buildings they've got left from a deprecated pack. I would love to turn these 50 Noisemakers into Small Canals. B)

I have got to reiterate, though, how grateful I am for how wonderful R'Skye's staff and developers are. You really are wonderful!!

(Also: Thanks for that code, Rachy! It's been driving me nuts not to be able to see the top right corner FOREVER!)

I would LOVE it if you could link the 3 areas. It would be great if we could use all our items (buildings etc) ion the peak or underneath the city (forgot what its called since there is nothing to do there) rather than have to place them in storage.

I have merely 1M before I stopped actively gathering from buildings and now I have 1.7M. Obviously it's not enough, as I see people having several Millions say they are wasted. I secretly conclude that the devs will soon make a money-sink expansion where everything costs 1M to build. In fact, I secretly think that the tower pack is nothing but a mere material sink.

Also, are the storage actually sorted alphabetically? I think it quite messy and I can never find what I'm looking for within three pages.

And I would LOVE to see more main quest instead of weekly sitcom..

this is a little annoyance of mine. if I use different paths they don't connect to eachother. You will get a very ugly corner with a little open space. I don't know if this is difficult to acomplish but if all the different paths could connect to eachother that would be great

It's a small thing but if the monsters could come out after all the debris is cleared.... I always forget to get that last little stump which can be difficult to get to if it's behind a building.

Also, I've read a lot about the collections and even seen some feedback about engineering checked and it's accurate blah, blah... but, can we work in a 'smart' feature? If I'm 100% focusing on one collection/building (we're talking as soon as it's used I'm collecting and it's the only thing I'm collecting from and multiple copies of the building) for HOURS! Frequency of drops should increase or something. I can literally pull from one building/collection ONLY for days and still not complete. Tell the engineers it's a little bit TOO random. ESPECIALLY the older buildings that don't have a full set/pack like the new themes do. Ok. I'm done for today. Love the game!

P.S. Maybe the the building that have 'uses' available could be frequented more?

    Default Stone Supply

    Hi,
Don't know if this is the right place to post this or not, but here goes. My one major frustration is once you get so far along on your city, no matter what measures you take, you NEVER have enough stone to build much of anything! There are so many quests and buildings to be built at the same time that you need a ton of stone but getting it is aggravating. Here is what I have done so far to try to get more stone and still it is nowhere enough:
I visit my friends cities (20 or so total) everyday and only bust up rocks when they have them. I plant King Melons everyday in hopes of getting stone from finishing the Melon collection. I have taken up all of my totems and cleared 2 large areas in the interior of my city, but I may get only 4 rocks to break up every 24 hour for that that bit I do and most of what grows there is a billion trees.
    My suggestions:
Make it to where you get more stone for each hit you do on each rock (like maybe 5 or 7 per hit instead of 1 or 2 or the occasional 3).
Make the Stone Mason produce more then 7 stone per every 4 hours.
Make it where there are equal amounts of rocks and trees reproducing.
Make it where you get some stone for each day you log into the game instead of mostly wood.
Lower the amount of stone or the amount of whacks you have to do on buildings. I mean really 14 stone for each whack and 26 whacks total for Rose's Villa is a bit overboard.

I am at level 44 and I am crawling through the quests at a slowness of a snail and a highly frustrated because I LOVE this game but the stone is ridiculous.
Thank you so much for allowing me to rant, and hopefully we see some changes in this regard. If I posted this in the wrong section let me know. Thank you!

I would like to see the message center have several pages. It seems you can only get 49/50 requests. You must accept them (and turn them to coins). or you don't get to see any of your other gifts/requests. I don't want to have to accept gifts when I know I have the max allowable in storage. I know I've asked for other items, but cannot get to them without accepting gifts, only to have them turn to coins. Let us leave them in our message center until we need them, and go on to receive gifts that we need....

I totally find that annoying also, but contribute it to some OCD I must be having....I like to have this squared up and in ship shape, but have lectured myself that this is a Raven World, where nothing is as it should be, just a bit askew...

not sure my two cents is worth anything but why have space we can't use for anything...why not let us build and collect in the interior and the peak. I am level 77...I don't like having to store my building because I have no were to put them...why build if all your doing is storing them and when you do store them...it takes the rank numbers away. I have over 6 million coins...I don't buy anything but things for quest because I have no were to put things. Also give us the choice to sell anything..I have so many of the sword in the stones friend sent and nothing to do with them except add them all down in the interior along with other things I can't sell

Well I think a lot of the suggestions I would like are already made

But the one below definitely top my list of like to see.

    1. Better Organization in the Storage menu. IE Tabs, Alphabetical, search bar.
2 Love to see Leon's Roar wonder turned into a growing stone wonder.
    3. Remove the limit on how many friends post's we can click, just get's annoying and confusing as to what and who you sent stuff too.
    4. Increased Building Materials Storage.
    5. Wishlist
    6. Confirmation screen on any credit item bought.

Hi, it would help me if when buying items (buildings especially) you could see somehow how big their footprint was first (eg 1x1 or 2x3 etc) so I could plan where to put them. Thanks!

    I haven't read the earlier posts, so I may be repeating, but this is what I'd like to see;

    A system like Ravenwood where there is some way to define whether you have visited a neighbour or not;
    'gift only' items dropping from monster fights occasionally, so that we don't lose hope completely;
it seems impossible to keep up with the amount of levonium morter needed (yes I'm trying to build the Pyramid) - but the 50 item limit should go.

First, I have to tell you developers that I am completely and hyperactively excited and grateful with this week's packs. The only way it could have been better was if Iris and Monty were offering a new flower and tree. I do agree with people that the required themed materials are pretty high, but I personally think it's worth it--the stuff this week is gorgeous!

    ------------------

I definitely agree with twotwins22: I'm glad that it's been fixed that when I'm putting down an item/building and there's an NPC it doesn't get blocked so that you have to wait until they've moved to put it where you're trying to--that it just "pushes them aside" if you put the thing down on top of them--but I've been a bit miffed with all the times I find that I'm standing where I'm trying to put something, and have to drop the thing I have in my cursor just to click on a different part of the map to move my avatar, only to have to switch back to the item again.

I also agree with Cat G.

    1) I love so many of these new weekly packs, but they don't really go with my stuff. I would love to put Little Wings, Pirate, and Flight Club stuff on my Peak, and put New Year's and Imperial New Year's stuff in the Interior. I know it takes time to improve functionality, and that you've been working on making the Peak and Interior work better since their releases, but this would be so wonderful.

    2) The ability to sell from storage would be amazing. I sometimes find myself buying paths when I already have some in storage, so I have ended up with more paths in a single type than would be required to cover my entire city. I feel it's tedious to have to put items out of my storage before selling them, especially paths and other items players naturally accumulate a ton of. (I do also think that the trophy hummingbirds should be "too special to sell" like the decorations the player restores, so we don't accidentally do so, since they're not reobtainable. I keep panicking when I accidentally hit "sell cursor" instead of "move cursor" and Muninn asks me if I want to sell the Hummingbird I was trying to move! x__x)

    3) Something to do with millions of coins: Perhaps investing that money into expanding the Peak and Interior so they can support buildings? I definitely have always thought the regular sustainment of over a million coins came hand in hand with being Lv50+, so it would be an automatic "rite of passage" to prove you've advanced enough in the game to "deserve" the luxury.

    ------------------

I was also just thinking. I really want to see the game offer the ability to toggle:

    - the "ready/complete/needs recharging" tags (they're an eyesore and make me feel like I have to go fix it in order to admire my city; I also like to leave crops Neverwithered for neighbors, so it's kind of frustrating that they have to have a tag over them distracting from my map)

    - the "alt/description tags" when the cursor is hovering over items/buildings

    - characters (so we can screencap our cities; it wouldn't turn their activities off)***

    - quest line icon visibility

    - the menu between being the entire length of the bottom of the screen and just the 2x2 box in the right-hand corner with the multi-tool and 'x' buttons, as well as the resource/energy bar be able to be collapsed in a similar way

*** Either the ability to toggle characters off, or a function that can screencap your entire map for you, without them included. The fact that the characters move around constantly is the main reason I haven't yet shared my city with the forums--it's just weird to screencap two parts to piece it together, and Betty is in both segments of the snapshot. (The tags over buildings/crops/totems is the other.)

    ------------------

The other thing I was thinking was about how I keep hearing people want to be able to exchange deprecated materials for Gems. I think Dogstone would definitely be the one who'd be in charge of it. Initially, the thought was that he could do it straight out of the Trading Post, but that's for sending and receiving stuff from R'Fair, so I don't think it'd work. Maybe a building like "Dogstone's Pawn Shop," where the shop menu lists the materials you have in storage that are eligible to be sold, and you just click on the material you want to sell and he'll "make an offer" to you in Gems or something. Barley might also be a good candidate for this function.

Crafters and farms need a cancel option - all too often i fill up my farm with long term crops and then get a quest to farm some short term items and want to 'dig up and replace' some of the crops - i have started leaving some skyberries in some plots to overcome this.

One thing that was annoying was when i went to grow a baseleaf for annies quest (got 6 out of 10) and i clicked on the eggwhite plant by mistake and now got to wait 2 days for it to finish before i can finish the baseleaf quest as i couldn't cancel.

    *Sell from storage
I'm not too sure about this. I like the fact that I can't sell anything by mistake from my storage. It's a safe place for storing stuff.

I have been getting increasingly frustrated with ravenskye. I see in this thread that I am not alone in this. Just want to reiterate some of the suggestions........
decrease the amount of time it takes to move stone from ravenwood to ravenskye (this is probably a ravenwood suggestion)
give us another way to get energy.......(like the buy it with food option in ravenwood)
More frequent drops of items needed to complete buildings and such. I chop 8 or 10 times and all I get is wood and stars. then I might get a box of nails or rope etc.
But the really big frustration is the limit on gifting..........I just can't get enough of the mortar, rope, nails, canvas etc by chopping to complete the buildings and do the synthesis shop stuff.
I LOVE ravenwood and play it much more than ravenskye. If I can't finish the year of the dragon quest because I don't have enough stone, energy, or whatever then I imagine I will just concentrate on ravenwood where I can complete the quests. I hate to give up playing ravenskye but I play for relaxation and it is not happening. Too much trouble to get stone, energy, drops.........

    bonjour,

Translated by me and google, sorry for any errors:

    hello,
I love this game, but when we build houses, shops or other things, to finish we must ask friends, but that message is displayed on the wall that sometimes people read, but sometimes we get no answers. Why can not ask our neighbors directly/personally and not on the wall .... I find that at the end is boring, and less and less desire to log-in as I fail to advance, if my suggestion could be taken into account, it would be nice, good day - Patty832
There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, and those who don't.
