My materials turning into coins

This has been happening to me for about a week, my materials have been turning into coins even when my stash is not full yet. The other day it happened with energy I had received from my friends. When I accepted them it said they would be turned into coins because my stash was full, but when I checked I only had 32, not 50. I thought it was just an error, but it has happened at least two more times, and today it happened with boxes of nails and coils of rope.

Are the items actually turning into packs of coins, or is the message just turning up in error? I've only seen the message turn up in error but I think they fixed that.

I have to be honest and say that I'm not sure if it just turns up in error... I'll be checking that out and updating if it happens again.
