Can't accept message gifts ...."out of sync" error

Everything else seems to work but I can not collect any of the gifts in my messages inbox and I can't return them.
When I click to accept the blue timing bars just keep timing and timing and timing...until I get the "out of sync" pop up.
I believe I lost all the gifts I had clicked on before the reload.

So now I can't play at all because I need gifts to complete everything.

I am using chrome and cleared the internet cachet. I just updated to flash 11 and I'm using win 7.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? I am worried about completeing limited quests on time.

I just accepted the gifts. Had the same problem others are reporting with the image moving to the left of the screen, not allowing for a real accept or return of gift, I got no credit for any of the gifts I accepted. I am dead in the water with this game.

I can't play without being able to receive gifts.

I'm having this problem too. Oddly, it is only happening with the centipede saddles -- I can't send them back and I can't accept them as Thank you gifts.

This is really, really frustrating.
