How do I delete a quest

I forgot about a christmas quest. The building is bought, but, to build it, I need items that are no longer available. Also, it will not let me buy to complete the building. Even when I click "cancel quest" on the quest screen, it will not let me sell or stash the building. Please help.

Abandoning a quest is different than selling the building. Clicking the abandon quest button should remove the quest, as long as you click "yes" when the game asks you to confirm.

All the building materials are still available by using "Ask Friends"; otherwise to delete the unfinished building contact customer service as special buildings are protected to prevent users selling things that can not be replaced:

I have two quest's that i am unable to finish!

1) Laying the road...I can place the 4 cobble stone street tiles but i am unable to find the float tractor in the shop. There is no abandon button to remove this quest.

2) Dr.cat's sweetie...I have the emerald tent and then we have to pay for the 6 cat statue's, that is out of the question for me...I do not buy any items at all (via credit card or any other way) there is also no abandon button.

How can i remove both quest???

I've deleted "Laying the Road" for you but "Dr Cat's Sweetie" is a story quest

Dr. Cat's Sweetie: you can purchase any cat statue. The Tigerseye Cat Statue is 3200 coins. It's currently on the same page as the picnic umbrellas, Rattleyrs, and Emerald Cat statue, but things in the shop tend to move around.
